On the first morning of each part of our Alpine Mountaineering and Technical Leadership program the group meets at AAI's offices in Bellingham, Washington for a gear check and final packing session before driving to the trailhead on the South side of Mount Baker and heading to the Easton Glacier for five days of instruction on glacier travel, snow climbing skills, and crevasse rescue.
